Born in the United States.

 

Oak barrels; must be aged in newly charred oak barrels at no higher than 125 proof.

 

Under 160 proof in the distilling process.

 

Ready to sip after typically 4+ years of aging.

 

Bottled at no less than 80 proof.

 

One other requirement is that the grain recipe must include at least 51% corn. Malted barley, and either rye or wheat are other ingredients that are added as flavoring grains.

 

No coloring can be added.
